Women's Pricing Database
We've curated a women's fashion pricing database, that includes nearly 1000 women's brands, that helps you set consistent prices as you add items to ConsignPro.
How Does It Work?
- Once installed, our new pricing helper will set the selling price of the item on the Add Inventory screen for you based on the item description, brand, and condition.
- Base prices are set in the database and then the brand and the condition of the item act as "multipliers" to either increase or decrease that base price.
- Base prices originated from national averages of the resale price of women's apparel but can be changed by you at anytime thru Maintain Lists.
- The brand multipliers categorize almost 1000 women's brands into brand "tiers" (1-Luxury thru 6-Discount) and either raise or lower the base price accordingly (250% to -35%).
- Similarly, the condition multiplier (A-New thru D-Flawed) either raise or lower the base price (90% to -35%). You can change these condition names & percentages.
- As you enter your item on Add Inventory, the Price will automatically adjust based on you selections you make. You can also adjust it manually.
- Base pricing, brand, and condition multipliers can be modified by you via our Maintain Lists screen.

How do Condition multipliers affect the Price?
- We have four condition multipliers that affect the selling price as follows:
- A-New: Adjusts the price upward by 90%.
- B-Great: Adjusts the price upward by 20%.
- C-Average: Leaves base price unchanged.
- D-Flawed: Adjusts the price downward by 30%
- If you don't use Tag Color, the Condition field takes the place of the Tag Color field on the Add Inventory screen.
- If you don't like our names or percentages, you can remove them and add your own back in.
How does this affect my current inventory?
- This pricing database has no impact on items already in your system.
- When installed, it can either ADD TO or REPLACE all of your current list entries for Types and Descriptions.
- Your Type list is renamed Brand. Your Tag Color list is renamed Condition - if you don't use Tag Colors.
Is there a demo available to try out?
Yes! In Version 11, visit Maintain Store, Maintain Lists, Womens Pricing Database, 14-Day Trial. The Trial automatically saves your list entries so that if you ever want to go back to the "way it was", it's easy to restore those settings.
